July 2010 Text and Email Consent
The practice would like to make increasing use of new technologies to communicate with patients.
We will soon have the facility to send text messages to patients to inform them of changes in practice services or opening hours, invite them to attend for flu vaccinations or medication reviews and even issue reminders of appointments. We would also like to make increasing use of emails to keep patients informed of practice developments.
In order to do this, we need patient consent. If you would be happy to recieve text messages and/or emails from the practice, which may be of general interest to all patients or specific to you please complete a consent form, available from Reception or download a copy here. Drop it in to us next time you pass.
