Park Leys Medical Practice

After completing my medical degree in Leicester (1985) and vocational training in Nottingham (1988) I completed short spells as an out of hours doctor in Australia and a rural GP on the Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border. I came to Park Leys in 1989.

I have enjoyed developing under graduate and post graduate training in the practice and maintain an active involvement. I am also the lead partner for Chronic Disease Management, which dovetails with my interest in clinical audit.

Away from work i have remained a keen supporter of my home town football club; Middlesborough FC. I have also been an active player until my mid 40's when arthritis of the hip finally took its toll. I continue to follow the sporting fortunes of my four children who are all equally keen participants.
