I did my basic medical training in India and then moved to the UK in 1995. Initially I trained as a Surgeon at Leicester Royal Infirmary and gained my FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons). After that I worked in various Hospitals in England and Wales.

I trained as a GP in 2003, some of this time was spent at Park Leys.

I came back to Park-Leys Medical Practice in 2005 as a salaried GP and became a full partner in 2006. In keeping with my background, my main areas of interest are Gastroenterology, Surgery, Musculoskeletal medicine and immediate care.

At Park-Leys I provide Minor Operations services to patients from all over Coventry on behalf of the Primary Care Trust. This includes a range of procedures which are carried out under local anaesthetic and include vasectomies, excision of toe nails, lumps and bumps and as part of the service I also provide a Rectal Bleed clinic. This service saves patients having to travel to UHCW or George Elliot and waiting times are generally much shorter than for the same procedures in hospital.

Procedures are carried out in the purpose build minor operations suite at Keresley Green and I am ably assisted by the Practice Nurses.

I live in Coventry, with my wife, who is a hospital anaesthetist, and our two children.
